Terms of service
Updated 28 September 2026. These terms apply to consumer purchases from PELUNO STONE ART. Nothing in them limits your statutory rights.
Who we are and how to contact us
PELUNO STONE ART is a trading name of PELUNO Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16976939. Our business and registered office is 10 Peel Street, Chorley, PR7 2EF, United Kingdom. Email pelunostoneart@gmail.com.
This is a correspondence address, not a drop-off point for heavy goods. We arrange return collection as explained in our returns and cancellation policy. You may notify cancellation by post.
Our products
We sell hand-cast concrete garden sculptures and urn planters. Each listing identifies whether its price is for one piece or a pair. Hand finishing can create minor variations in colour and texture; screen settings and lighting also affect appearance. These variations do not excuse goods that are faulty, misdescribed or below the quality required by law.
Please ask us for confirmed dimensions, weight, planting space and finish-specific care information where these are not listed. Do not estimate size from photographs. Check the suitability of any supporting surface and the delivery access route before ordering.
Orders and payment
Please check the product, quantity, delivery address and total before submitting your order. We will send an order confirmation by email. If we cannot fulfil an order or identify a pricing error, we will contact you promptly and explain the available options. We will not impose a different product, price or delivery charge without your agreement. If the order cannot proceed, we will refund payments due for it.
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling. The checkout shows the total payable, including any applicable taxes and delivery charge, before payment. Prices may change for future orders; this does not retrospectively change an existing agreed order.
Delivery and access
Our shipping policy sets out the postcode-zone charges and delivery arrangements. The typical lead time is 7–30 days, depending on production and route planning. We contact you to arrange a suitable date. Delivery will be within 30 days unless a different period is expressly agreed with you.
Delivery includes ground-level placement with clear, safe access. It does not include upstairs carrying, lifting over obstacles, permanent fixing or installation. Tell us about restrictions before dispatch so arrangements can be agreed. Any additional agreed charge must be explained before it is incurred; we will not impose an undisclosed or disproportionate fee.
The goods remain at our risk until they come into your physical possession, or that of a person you identify to receive them, other than the carrier. The statutory exception applies if you independently commission a carrier that we did not offer. Your rights relating to late delivery remain unaffected; contact us promptly if a delivery is delayed.
Cancellation, returns and refunds
For standard products bought online or by telephone, you can cancel from placing the order until 14 days after the day you receive the goods. For an order delivered in separate parts, the period runs from receipt of the last item. Casting a standard design after ordering does not itself remove that right.
The change-of-mind exception applies only to goods that genuinely meet the legal requirements for goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. Any applicable exception will be explained before you order; choosing a standard catalogue option does not automatically make a piece exempt.
We arrange collection. For change-of-mind returns, the disclosed collection charge is £49–£199 according to the original delivery postcode zone, not per item where items from the order are collected together. Free outward delivery does not make change-of-mind collection free. We do not retrospectively charge for original free delivery.
For cancellation of the whole order, we refund the goods and the least expensive standard outward delivery offered. Because we offer collection, refunds are made without undue delay and within 14 days after cancellation notice, subject to lawful deductions explained in our policy. There is no automatic restocking fee. Read the full returns policy, zone charges and optional cancellation form for details.
Faults and transport damage
Your goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. You normally have a 30-day short-term right to reject qualifying faulty goods. Repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund may be available as the law provides; rights do not simply end after 30 days. We bear reasonable return costs for valid statutory rejection and provide required repairs or replacements without cost to you.
Please inspect on arrival and tell us promptly about damage, ideally within 24 hours, with photographs where possible. This request is to help investigation, not a deadline that removes your rights. Signing for delivery or being unable to supply photographs does not automatically prevent a valid claim.
Care and responsibility
Use a stable, suitable supporting surface and safe handling arrangements for heavy pieces. Obtain finish-specific advice before applying cleaners, coatings or treatments. We are not responsible for damage caused solely by misuse or accidental damage after delivery, but remain responsible for our own breach and any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights. Where we breach our obligations, our responsibility is governed by applicable law. These terms do not impose a blanket waiver of your rights.
Privacy, website use and reviews
Our privacy policy explains how personal information is used. The store is hosted on Shopify; PELUNO Ltd is the seller responsible for your order. Please use the site lawfully. Reviews should reflect genuine experience and must not disclose someone else's private information or contain unlawful material. A negative but genuine review is not a reason to remove your consumer rights.
Complaints and applicable law
Please email us with your order number and a description of the issue so we can investigate. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing mandatory protections available to consumers in their place of residence. Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts available to them under applicable law, including their home jurisdiction where entitled.
Changes to these terms apply to future orders and do not retrospectively reduce rights under an existing purchase. Keep your order confirmation and a copy of the terms supplied with it.
